3rd Grade: Internet Safety Lesson 1
The Internet is a Place
Students will learn the Internet holds dangers just like other places do
Students will learn that "Safe Side Adults" can help keep them safer on the Internet

4th & 5th Grade: Dewey Superheroes to the Rescue
Students will show their understanding of the different nonfiction Dewey Decimal sections by creating a Superhero with characteristics from one of the sections

9/19 - 9/25 Library Organization

Students will learn how libraries are organized.
Students will reshelve their own books.
Check out 2 books - no more than one "junk food".

9/12 - 9/18 Lesson: Check In Procedures

New Check in Procedures:
Students will check in their own books.
Review library organization & map.
Students will successfully reshelf their own books.

9/5 - 9/11 Lessons: Check Out Procedures

New Circulation Procedures:
Students will check out a maximum of 3 books.
Students will know the difference between "Brain Food" and "Junk Food" books.
Create class set of library cards.

8/29 - 9/4 Lesson: Procedures & Textbooks
